FAQ
Main »» CellMate™ Reports| I'm NOT a practitioner, but would like to get your lab reports. How can I do this? |
---
Call Direct Laboratory Services at 1-800-908-0000 and ask them about direct access testing. You may also call us for a referral to a practitioner in your area. If you have a practitioner in mind, who you feel would be interested in our reports, contact us and we'll be happy to send our information directly to them.
I'm a practitioner and would like to start using your reports. What's the best way to get started?
Give us a call or email with your name, specialty, address and phone. We'll immediately send an information packet and pricing information out to you.
I already do standard blood lab-work in my practice. Can you generate a report from that?
Yes. However in order for it to be as comprehensive as possible, we like to have the following results represented: A/G Ratio Albumin Alkaline Phosphatase Anion Gap B.U.N. B.U.N./Creatinine Ratio Basophil Count Basophils Bilirubin, Total Calcium Calcium/Phosphorus Ratio Chloride Cholesterol CO2 Creatinine Eosinophil Count Eosinophils Free T4 Index GGT Globulin Glucose HDL-Cholesterol Hematocrit Hemoglobin Iron, Total LDH LDL Lymphocyte Count Lymphocytes MCH MCHC MCV Monocyte Count Monocytes Neutrophil Count Neutrophils Phosphorus Potassium Protein, Total R.B.C. sGOT sGPT Sodium T-3 Uptake Thyroxine (T4) Triglycerides Ultra-Sensitive TSH Uric Acid W.B.C.
What tests do you offer, or can you generate reports for?
Our standard, and most common ones are: Comprehensive blood, Amino Acid, Organic Acids, Minerals/Toxins, and Food Allergies. It is possible to have lab work performed for other tests, but our report would not contain the medical research for these tests.
Can I add-on other items, such as Blood-Type, Ferritin, CRP, etc.. to the Comprehensive Blood Chemistry labs?
Certainly. Please call ahead for pricing on extra tests.
How long will it take to get the reports back from you?
Once we have the lab results (faxed, or direct from the lab), we will enter them and generate a report within 72 hours. We can then email, fax or mail our report. Delivery time is determined by the method used. We may be able to expedite delivery if needed.
Great, but how long does it take to get the result from the lab once we perform the draw and send in our samples?
We should have the Comprehensive Blood results from the lab 2 days after the draw (one day in transit, and one day for analysis at the lab). Amino Acids, Organic Acids, Minerals/Toxins and Allergy results can take up to 4 weeks to complete, though in most cases the results are ready in 2 weeks or less.
Where do you get the information for your reports?
We use the same reference material you study, and use in your practice, all from peer-reviewed medical texts and journals. A small sample of references can be found listed at the end of the Foundational Model for Laboratory Testing and Optimal Wellnessdocument in our downloads area.
Do you accept Insurance?
No, we don't accept insurance as payment, however we can generate an insurance statement which the patient/individual may submit to their insurance company. As a practitioner, you may also include the lab information in your "super bill" for coverage.
How much will the insurance company pay if a statement is sent in by the patient?
Every company is different, and there are no simple answers. We've heard of 0% coverage 100% coverage, though typically it will fall toward the middle (40%-60%).
I'm a practitioner, and want to ask about the results in your report. What's the best way to do that?
Email or call us, and we'll either answer your questions on the spot, or schedule an appointment for you to call us back.
I'm an individual/patient and I have questions about a report I got through my practitioner. Can you answer my questions?
It depends on the questions. We can not, and will not, answer any questions where the answer may be construed as a medical recommendation. For 99% of the questions, you should contact your health care practitioner.
